Let’s Playball! In the summer of 2025 we are already running the 31st edition of our legendary Baseball Summer Academy — and it promises to be another cracking week. We are welcoming not only many talented players from the Netherlands, but also an impressive international mix: 50% of the participants come from abroad, from no fewer than 15 different countries!
Our ‘intensive’ Catcher Winter Academy is already fully booked for the 2025/26 season — confirmation of the growing passion for this position.
New in 2025/26: softball is back in the spotlight!
We are seeing a clear rise in interest in the spectacular, fast game of softball. In Playball’s early years we gave it plenty of attention, and now we are picking up that thread again with full energy!
That is why in the winter of 2025/26 we are also starting a Catcher Academy especially for softball catchers. Numbers are deliberately kept small, so that there is room for personal attention and focused coaching.
