Player registration for 2027 is open!

Register your child for the regional selection. You receive a confirmation of your registration by e-mail straight away. Once registration closes on 1 March 2027, the organisation determines the region and the regional coordinator gets in touch about tryouts, training sessions and practical arrangements.

Registration for season 2027 runs from 14 September 2026 through 1 March 2027.

The personal data you fill in is used to organise the Dutch Little League Championship. It is shared with the regional coordinator and the tournament office; where needed also with Little League International.

The data is archived after the season and deleted after two years.

Photographers are around during the tournament. By agreeing you also give permission for the following:

  • During the tournament photographers take photos and videos of the games and everything around them. Players, coaches, volunteers and visitors may be recognisable in them.
  • We use those images to cover the tournament on the website, in the newsletter and on social media.
  • This permission also covers the requirements the Europe/Africa Region tournament and the World Series in the United States set us for the use of photos and videos. Privacy rules in the United States are less strict than in the Netherlands. By registering you agree to them in advance.
  • Is there a photo of your child on our own channels that you would rather see gone? E-mail the tournament office; we will take it down.
7. Declaration of home and school address

The home address and the school address decide which region a player may represent. So check carefully that all details are correct before you send the registration.

  • The home and school address are checked during the championship. The player has to live or go to school within the region they represent.
  • This check is needed to be able to move on to the next tournament if the team qualifies: the Europe/Africa Region.
  • If the check shows the details do not meet the conditions, this can mean the team is disqualified and the next team in the standings goes through. On top of that an administrative fine of at least € 500 may be imposed.
  • Is the player moving house during the little league period, or changing school? Then check for yourself, in good time, whether that affects the region the player may represent. During the Whitsun tournament all details have to be correct and up to date.

What happens after registration?

    Confirmation — You receive a confirmation by e-mail straight away.

    Region — The tournament office checks the registration and forwards it to the region of the home or school address. You receive an e-mail with the name of your regional coordinator. Living across the border and going to school in the Netherlands? Then you play for the region of your school. If both addresses are outside the Netherlands, taking part goes through a waiver from the tournament office.

  3. 3

    Tryouts — The region schedules the tryouts, the selection training sessions where the coaches see who fits which league and team.

  4. 4

    Selected — Then your child trains with the regional selection and plays at the championship over Whitsun. Before you commit, you are told the second part of the contribution.
