Certificate of conduct (VOG)

Everyone who works with children during the championship holds a valid VOG, the Dutch certificate of conduct. Without one you do not take the field, not as a coach and not as an umpire. We apply for it on your behalf and pay for it — you only approve the application.

How it works

Four steps to your VOG

1

You sign up

When signing up as a coach, umpire or volunteer you indicate that you work with children.

2

We submit the application

The tournament office starts the digital application with Justis. You receive an e-mail about it.

3

You approve it

Log in with DigiD, check the application, send. Takes a few minutes and you pay nothing.

4

Justis sends the VOG

You receive the certificate at home or digitally. Upload it in your own account and you are done.

Who needs one?

Coaches, umpires, scorers, venue volunteers and the organisation. In short, everyone who deals with children during the tournament. Without a valid VOG you neither coach nor umpire at the championship.

How long is it valid?

A VOG is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. You hand it in again every season: if the certificate is less than 3 years old, the same one will do. After that we apply for a new one for you.

What we keep

We record that you hold a valid VOG and until when. The document itself is deleted after the retention period; the check remains demonstrable. See the privacy statement.

Already have a VOG from your club?

A VOG is not transferable between organisations: the application is for a specific role profile at a specific organisation. So we request one for the championship, even if you already have one at your own club.

Getting started as a volunteer?

Sign up; the VOG application starts automatically once your role is known.
