How can you reach me?
For urgent matters I can be reached by phone. For less urgent matters you can reach me via WhatsApp or send an e-mail.
I am not available around the clock, but I will always try to get back to you as soon as possible.
Our confidential contact
As Little League Netherlands we have set ourselves the goal of working towards a safe sporting climate. That naturally includes a safe environment. As in our culture, we strive for you to be free to say what you want, free to be who you are, and for all of us to be free to call each other out on unwanted behaviour — without hurting each other, of course. Part of offering a safe climate is appointing a confidential contact.
Who am I?
“I am Erika Dechamps and I am the confidential contact within Little League Netherlands. As VCP I am the first point of contact for everyone involved in the Dutch Little League Championship — players, parents, spectators, volunteers — who has a complaint or a question about the way we treat each other. I listen, give advice where I can and, where needed, act as the go-between for those involved and the KNBSB's confidential adviser or integrity manager. You can come to me with any question if you are unsure about the behaviour of teammates, coaches or others.”

Bullying and being bullied.
Discrimination and intimidation: feeling excluded because of your skin colour, faith or sexual orientation.
Transgressive behaviour: any behaviour that makes someone feel uncomfortable. This can be about how you are approached or touched by a teammate, a parent or a coach. But also when you suspect that someone close to you is dealing with this.
The way your child is treated within the team.
The way you, as a team leader, treat the members of your team.
The way people treat each other within the team: think of messages in group chats or on social media that raise questions for you.
You can also contact me if you have been directly or indirectly accused of unacceptable behaviour.
How confidential is the VCP?
As VCP I am bound by confidentiality. That means I do not pass on information about you to others without having discussed it with you. An exception may be when the matter discussed concerns a criminal offence.

If you would rather speak to someone further removed from the organisation, you can turn to the NOC*NSF reporting centre.
