Taking part in the championship

Everything you need for your child to play: how registration works, which leagues there are and what to arrange before the Whitsun weekend.

How it works

Four steps to the championship

1

Register

Parents and carers register their child themselves on this site, before the closing date.

2

Tryouts

The tryouts are selection training sessions in your region: the coaches see who fits which league and team. After that, the teams are picked.

3

Train

If your child is selected, they train in the weeks before the championship with the regional selection: the team your region takes part with.

4

Play at Whitsun

Three days of championship games on the fields of Amsterdam Pirates and BSC Almere; one more venue to follow.

Two quick checks

Which league and which region?

Find your child's league

Not sure which league your child belongs in? Check here.

Enter the date of birth and you will see the league age per sport with the leagues that fit. That age counts on the reference date of the sport, not on the birthday — for softball that date falls earlier in the year than for baseball. We store nothing.

Enter the date of birth and press the button; you will see the league age per sport with the leagues that fit.

Find your region

Which region does your child play for?

Enter the postcode and house number of the home address or of the school. You will see the region, the team name per sport and who coordinates the region.

We do not store the address; it is only used to look up the region.

Fees

You pay at two points: when you register, on average from € 60 for the tryouts and training — more in some regions — and after selection a second contribution for the tournament. Both amounts differ per region.
