In July we received the sad news of the sudden passing of Stanley Gumbs, a driven and experienced Little League coach from Rotterdam.
Stanley was active as a trainer and coach for the Little League teams in the Rotterdam region for more than 35 years. He was passionate and driven, and guided many a championship team as trainer and coach. This year too he was one of the coaches who led the winning Baseball Littles team from Rotterdam at the Dutch Championship 2024 in May. The team had just left for Poland for the Regionals when they heard the sad news. So very sad!
We wish everyone who loved him strength with this enormous loss. We will miss him on the fields.
