# A safe tournament

The championship is a tournament for children. That makes demands on everyone involved: on coaches and umpires, on parents along the sideline and on us as the organisation.

### First aid at the field

Every venue has a staffed first-aid post during all games, recognisable by the red flag.

### What we do

- Every coach, umpire and volunteer holds a valid [VOG](https://nklittleleague.nl/en/veilig-sporten/vog), no older than 3 years. Without a VOG nobody takes the field; we apply for it and pay for it.
- Coaches complete the Diamond Leader course on a safe and positive sporting climate and hand in the certificate again every season.
- The [code of conduct](https://nklittleleague.nl/en/veilig-sporten/gedragscode) applies to everyone on the grounds, spectators included.
- We never publish names, addresses or contact details of minors.
