Little League 2024 has come to an end for the Dutch teams, and it is time to look back at the results of this successful season. Registration opened on 1 January and in the end 1085 participants signed up for the programme. 287 softball players and 798 baseball players took part in the training sessions in the 10 regions. Those training programmes were once again expertly organised by 19 active regional coordinators. They handled the communication with players and their parents, arranged the technical staff and training venues, materials and clothing, and made sure all the kids could train regionally with their peers a number of times. After the selections we ended up with 56 teams for the NK Little League at Whitsun. 19 softball teams and 37 baseball teams competed for the Dutch Championship on 18-20 May. There were 170 youth coaches and trainers active and 60 umpires present to officiate the games. What a commitment from all those volunteers again! After another [fantastic NKLL 2024](https://nklittleleague.nl/fantastisch-nkll-2024/), 8 Dutch teams got ready for the Regionals in Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. Here too parents and coaches put in a lot of work to have all the documentation, clothing, travel plans and so on ready in time for departure. And once again it was an unforgettable experience for every team! Some teams were more successful than others. But they were there! We could follow their adventures on and around the field through the social media pages on [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/nklittleleague/) and [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/nklittleleague/). There you can clearly see how players, coaches and supporters enjoyed themselves and made lifetime memories! ## Results ## SOFTBALL Little League Poland: Pink Panters 8th place Junior League Czech Republic: NKLL Brabant Bandits 3rd place, Runner up NKLL Kennemerland 5th place Senior League Czech Republic: District team The Netherlands: champions! Qualified for the World Series in Delaware! There they reached the quarter-finals and finished 5th! ## BASEBALL Little League Poland: Rotterdam 6th place IM League Czech Republic: Rotterdam 2nd place Junior League Czech Republic: Kennemerland 5th place Senior League Italy: Rotterdam 4th place ## UMPIRES The same goes for the umpires appointed by Little League International at the Regionals and the World Series. What an honour to be asked!
